The wine was not born from a commercial choice, but from a technical need which is the consequence of a company philosophy which concerns the entire production of Borgo del Tiglio: that of bringing to the consumer the maximum expression of the vine and the vineyard. In concrete terms this means that the vineyards are vinified separately. The small barrels that will make up the upper lines are selected from the lots kept separate during refinement. Therefore, the wine that for practical reasons cannot be kept separate during processing, and then the one that remains after the selections, is taken as the basis for the Milleuve cuvée. From this process an excellent wine is obtained which, however, compared to the Borgo del Tiglio selections, has lost that unique and inimitable character that binds it to the vineyard. The trade-off is an exceptionally attractive price.
