The Poli Distillery is a company well-known both in Italy and abroad: active since 1898 in Schiavon, near Vicenza, has always been managed by the members of the Poli family.
The Grappa Sassicaia is carried out from fresh marc of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, distilled with a copper discontinuous alembic with steam boilers. After four years of aging in oak barrels, is then elevated for a period of six months in barrels that have previously hosted the Sassicaia wine.
The aroma gives off notes of wood, vanilla, cocoa, coffee, licorice; the taste is complex, structured, majestic.
